Presentation of Address

8.38After the Address has been agreed to, it is ordered to be presented to Her Majesty. In the case of the Address of the House of Lords it is usual for the presentation to be ordered to be made ‘by the Lords with white staves' (that is, the Royal Household); and in the case of the Address of the Commons by ‘such members of the House as are of Her Majesty's most honourable Privy Council, or of Her Majesty's household’.
