6.16The Governance Office is headed by the Managing Director of the Governance Office. It supports the House of Commons Commission and runs the offices of the Clerk of the House of Commons and the Director General (Operations). It provides the secretariat for the Commission, the Commons Executive Board and a number of Domestic Committees including the Administration and Finance Committees. It also has responsibility for key corporate functions, including Internal Audit, Risk Management, Safety, Business Resilience and Emergency Planning, Diversity and Inclusion and Communications.
