Power to confer with committees of the House of Commons

40.15Select committees have the power to confer and meet concurrently with any committee or sub-committee of the Commons appointed to consider a similar matter, and to communicate their evidence or documents to a Commons committee. Such meetings may be held to deliberate or to take evidence. Select committees may also give this power to sub-committees.1
