Other motions relating to statutory instruments

31.31The House has agreed to a motion to approve an instrument even though it was not by its parent Act subject to affirmative resolution.1

A motion to revoke an instrument not subject to parliamentary proceedings has been tabled,2 and motions have been tabled seeking the amendment of instruments in force and no longer subject to parliamentary scrutiny.3 Instruments may also be the subject of motions to take note,4 or of questions for short debate.5
