Dropped orders

28.49If, when the order of the day is read at the Table, no motion is made for the second reading or other stage of a bill, and no proposal is made for its deferment to another named day, it becomes a dropped order, and does not appear again upon the Order of Business, unless another day is subsequently appointed for its consideration (see para 19.34 ). In practice, this occurs most commonly in relation to Private Members' Bills.
