38.68The Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee is now the select committee responsible for examining and reporting on draft orders laid before the House under the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006; subordinate provisions orders made or proposed under the Regulatory Reform Act 2001; any matter arising from its consideration of such matters or others relating to regulatory reform; and functions under Standing Order No 142 relating to the Localism Act 2011.1
